Financial Times: First Reserve in $1bn wind farm venture

First Reserve, one of the largest energy-focused private equity investors in the world, is set to announce a $1bn wind farm joint venture with Spain’s Renovalia Energy on Monday.
The long-term agreement will see the US private equity group investing $150m in a joint company called Renovalia Reserve that will own and operate wind farms in Spain and Hungary, and develop a pipeline of projects in Canada, Romania and Spain.
