Source: www.sirp.se
One of the researchers in the Mistra Sustainable Investment Reseach Platform, Associate Professor Pontus Cerin, has together with Ola Löhman, CEO at Frontlobe, received a commission to educate Egyptian corporations on GRI’s (Global Reporting Initiative) Sustainability Reporting Guidelines, the concept of Sustainability, corporate strategy development and implementation and profitability. The course starts in the beginning of June.
The course is commissioned by the Egyptian Institute of Directors, EIoD. The EIoD resides under the Ministry of Investment and collaborates with many leading international organizations such as the World Bank (WB) and International Finance Corporation (IFC) among many others. The course is a collaboration with EIoD, The Swedish Trade Council and the Embassy of Sweden to Egypt.
The Swedish Trade Council, STC, coordinates the course which will take place at the Marriott Hotel of Cairo during three days, including a reception at the Swedish Embassy to Egypt. The ambition with the initiative is to contribute to the budding sustainability work of the Egyptian business world, such as enhancing the by the EIoD recently launched ESG – Environment, Social and Governance – Index of the Cairo Stock Exchange.
